Navigating beyond the Pure Black Void: Insights from the Dreaming Lands
In the realm of Dreaming, we set forth on a journey that traverses the ethereal landscapes of the mind. For those who take their dreams for granted, it can seem as though we are of course ineffectual and unable to navigate the mysterious spaces where most accept the limits and concede to the mercies of the mind’s fabrications. But not here. I’ll shed light on some essential Dreaming terms and why instruction in Dreaming is of the utmost importance, if you wish to bring awareness into your resting slumber.
The Pure Black Void:
Imagine the “Pure Black Void” as a state of unbeing, a profound emptiness that precedes the emergence of dreams. It’s a realm of nonexistence, a valueless perpetual darkness. Without guidance, many individuals are swallowed by this void each night as they retire, unaware of how to purposefully access the Dreaming realms beyond. For most the void is a place of fearful nonexistence and nonbeingness. It represents the stark emptiness that precedes the profound world of dreams, a place where those unfamiliar with the art of Dreaming assume they’ve been for the night, more and more often. It’s true, at times, people stumble across the void into a dream, they wake up excited at having experienced and remembered something. But for those who know the practice of Dreaming, crossing the void is not left to chance. They unlock the gates, and guarantee their safe crossing into the Dream Lands.
Without the knowledge and guidance to navigate this void and access the Dreaming Gates, individuals risk becoming lost in this intimidating expanse. Or at best, waking up to remember a regular dream. Learning to cross this void, stepping through the Dreaming Gates, is the crucial skill that enables us to reach the vibrant Dream Lands beyond. It is through this journey that we transcend nonexistence and unlocking the limitless potential of our dreams.
Dreaming Gates:
Dreaming Gates serve as the entry points into Dreaming. These are the thresholds we must reach, to successfully cross the Pure Black Void into the vivid landscapes of the Dreaming Lands. Instruction on Dreaming and the efforts we make developing our lucidity in regular dreams helps us identify and navigate these gates, granting us access to the rich and transformative experiences that Dreaming offers.
Dreaming Lands:
The “Dreaming Lands” are the vast terrains beyond regular dreams. It’s within these other worldly realms that Dreaming practitioners hone their skills, explore hidden truths, and mature the full potential of the mind. It’s where we encounter the profound, the surreal, and the limitless possibilities of our subconscious.
Why is having a Dreaming Teacher Necessary?
Without support and guidance, we risk falling into the Pure Black Void with ever increasing frequency, unable to bridge the gap between wakefulness and the Dreaming Lands. Instruction provides us with the tools to recognize the Dreaming Gates and venture into the captivating Dreaming Lands, where vast riches come alive.
Dreaming instruction empowers us to explore the depths of our consciousness, unravel the mysteries of our dreams, and harness their transformative potential. Our Dreaming skills guide us in crossing the void of unbeing to reach the vibrant lands where Dreaming practitioners meet and interact with one another; where we become the architects of realities.
